Fall Ball

With parents focused on their kids starting school off well, and kids participating in traditional fall sports, Fall Ball will take a lighter approach compared with summer ball.  Saturday Skill Clinics will be held and SJBB will field  competitive teams based on coach availability.  Our purpose in organizing the fall program is to offer more opportunity for Summit's kids to work on their skills while have fun doing something they love.

Fall 2012:
The Summit Junior Baseball Fall Travel Committee is currently organizing the fall 2011 baseball season.  SJBB will only field one travel team per age group, due to coaching availability. Age groups for Fall 2012 will be as follows:

9U (in coming 3rd grade)
10U (in coming 4th grade)
11U (in coming 5th grade)

These teams will participate in the Cerbo League and Registration will open August 3rd.  It is SJBBs intention to enter only 1 team for these age groups.  Rosters will be limited to 15 players and players will be given priority on a first come first serve basis.

Description:

·         The purpose of fall baseball is to afford players of all skill levels an opportunity to continue to build their skills and compete in an organized travel baseball league.

·         Compared with SJBB’s more competitive summer program, coaches will be sensitive to the fact that parents place priority on schoolwork and that some players will be participating in other traditional fall sports.
