 AMERICAN LEAGUE (Grade 5)

 AMERICAN LEAGUE (Grade 5)

The American League is comprised of 5th graders.

The objective of the American League is to further stimulate the player's interest in the game of baseball while stressing skill development, sportsmanship and having fun.  Standings are kept during the year and playoffs to determine a League champion are held at the end of the season.  The American League is intended to be competitive, but teamwork, sportsmanship and a love of the game are paramount. All teams make the playoffs.

Games are played at Jefferson Field (some games will be played at night under the lights), and occasionally at Long Field behind the Summit Recreation Center.
Cost: $180. Players are provided a full uniform.
